In order to reduce fire accidents, establish fire awareness, and master emergency methods for fire accidents, the University held a fire safety drill.
The alarm sounded, and the employees went to the exit in an orderly manner to evacuate safely
The fire brigade went to the scene with a fire extinguisher
How to use dry powder fire extinguisher:
1. Turn the fire extinguisher upside down several times to loosen the dry powder inside;
2. Pull out the safety pin; generally it is a lead seal or plastic safety pin, directly hold the pull ring with your hand, and pull it out hard to pull the safety pin off;
3. After pulling off the safety pin, hold the pressure handle with one hand and the nozzle with the other hand, and place the fire extinguisher vertically; when the pressure handle is pressed hard, the dry powder will be ejected from the nozzle;
4. When spraying, aim at the root of the flame, stand in the upwind direction and be 2~3 meters away from the root of the flame.
How to use the fire hydrant:
1. The fire hydrant is a common fire-fighting facility. Its protection radius is generally 30 meters, including a hose length of 20 meters and a water column of 10 meters;
2. Open the fire hydrant, connect the gun head, water bag and valve port. When there are two people at the scene, one of them should be responsible for connecting the gun head and water bag and running to the fire point, and the other person should press the water bag and valve port; if there is only one person, first connect the valve and turn counterclockwise Open the valve to let the water flow out, and then rush to the fire point;
3. If an electrical appliance catches fire, the power supply must be cut off first. If the scene is complicated, a fire hydrant should be used to extinguish the fire quickly. At the same time, pay attention to your own safety to reduce unnecessary injuries.
After this fire safety drill, has everyone's fire emergency capability been further improved? I hope that when we encounter a fire, we don't have to panic and take correct and effective emergency measures to protect personal safety and stay away from disasters.
